🌟 Big news at The Dorset Golf & Bowls Resort! 🌟
We’re honoured to be hosting the Team England Commonwealth Games Para Bowls Squad 2026 ahead of the Games in Glasgow! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Our Dorset Team will be taking them on in a series of exciting matches — and all members and friends are warmly invited to come along and support!
📅 Saturday 4th July
🕒 9:30am • 11:30am • 2:30pm
📅 Sunday 5th July
🕒 9:30am • 11:30am • 2:30pm
Each match is 2 sets of 5 ends and should finish in around 1 hour 15 minutes.
This is a fantastic chance to see the Team in action up close before they head to Glasgow! 🎳💪
Come along, cheer them on, and enjoy some top-class Para Bowls right here on home turf.

What a fantastic week of bowling here at The Dorset Bowls Resort! From the very first end to the final bowl, all three clubs brought brilliant energy, friendly competition and plenty of laughs along the way. 🎳😄

The standard on the rinks was superb throughout, with some incredibly tight ends and quality shot-making on display. Off the green, the atmosphere was just as special – great company, great stories and plenty of memorable moments shared. 👥✨

Dear Dorset Members,

As we reach the end of another year at The Dorset Indoor Bowls Club, I’d like to thank you for your continued support and for being such a valued part of our community. Whether you’ve been on the rinks, in the clubhouse, or taking part in our socials, your involvement is what truly brings the club to life.

The festive season gives us a chance to look back on the year—those tight heads, well-judged draws, perfectly weighted woods, and all the moments that remind us why we love the sport. It’s been wonderful to see the rinks so well used throughout 2025.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for everything 2026 has in store. Our team remains committed to offering great bowling, friendly service, and plenty of opportunities for you to get the most from your membership.

From all of us here, we wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.
