Fantastic way to start the new season.

Solid team performance all around. Some great football played and then solid at the back when called upon.

Everyone played their part which is what we asked.

A brilliant start to the season for U11 Greens who after promotion again were quite rightly expecting a challenge!

The pre season training definitely paid off as the lads looked determined, hungry, and resilient, making them all contenders for man of the match this week 💪🏼

A 3rd quarter goal for Heath kept the team’s spirits high and boosted the adrenaline, then Freddie C sealed the win with an impressive run and shot on target.

Crusaders U8’s Green Started their season away at Askern in what was a thrilling Game.

Askern took an early lead but Crusaders fought their way back into the game. After a couple of goals for either side and Askerns goal keeper pulling off some great saves the scores finished level.

Was great to see the kids back to doing what they love with massive smiles on their faces. Massive shout out to Askern aswell who were great opponents and pleasure to play against.

🟢⚪️⚽️ Crusaders U9 Whites ⚽️⚪️🟢

This morning, Crusaders Whites were away in our first league game of the season against a great team.

From the very first whistle the boys were on fire, each and everyone of them getting stuck in, not an inch of the pitch wasn’t covered, using what they’ve been practicing in training, working extremely hard as a team, but most of all playing with a massive smile on their faces!

Overall class performance from the boys! 🟢⚪️

Brilliant man of the match performance by Ben and 4 goals to go with it, completely dominant display in midfield 🤝⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

A couple of tidy strikers finishes for Evan as well ⚽️⚽️ great composure shown!

Today was our first EVER league match against a tough Rossington team, away.

The kids were amazing, working so hard, and creating chances.

Fun was our aim and we think they all enjoyed today, Charlie Gorman getting 3 goals, Fraser, Isaac Simpson and Isaac Seels all getting a goal each

We as coaches and parents think you did us all proud and your attitude before, during and after the game was a credit to Crusaders.

An excellent start for one of Sprotbrough’s newest teams, with the U8s Yellows in action against West End Terriers in a closely contested and well-matched game.

The boys showed great effort, teamwork and determination throughout, with plenty of positives to take from their first outing. A fantastic performance from the whole team and a great foundation to build on as the season progresses.

Got off to a flying start to the season, playing some superb football and unfortunately going behind early.

However they bounced straight back with a goal, followed by another 2 later in the game.

Sprotbrough 3 - 1 Sandall beat

An even contest in the first half with a few chances created each end. Midway into the second half Sandall beat edged ahead following a nice top corner finish.
But we didn’t let that put us down and secured the equaliser via an own goal from an epic corner delivery from Luis .

After that we dominated and went ahead from another brilliantly delivered corner from Luis & Lenny getting on the end to put it in the back of the net ⚽️

We didn’t stop after that, 💪 a nice through ball from Harry to Charlie who calmly slotted it in.⚽️

Great to start off with a win against a strong side 🤝 Great goal keeping performance from Henry today deserving a shoutout for some great shot stopping and bravery coming out to sweep up when needed!
