🏆 What a few weeks it’s been for our club! 🏆
Storws Wen GC have taken a clean sweep of the island this year! 🔥
Two weeks ago, our Senior Team won the Rawlinson Shield, competing against all the clubs on the island, with our President Andy Wainwright also taking Best Individual, posting the best 4 rounds from 6.
Then yesterday, our Dr Lowe Men’s Team followed suit, winning the Dr Lowe Shield for the second time in three years. To top it off, our Vice Captain Matthew Head won Best Individual for the second year running, posting the lowest 4 rounds from 6.
A fantastic achievement for everyone involved. Congratulations to everyone who played their part and represented Storws Wen so proudly! 👏🏆

California Cup 4BBB marked our first board competition of the year today, and what a fantastic start it was. A great turnout, superb weather, and the course presented in excellent condition made for a brilliant day all round.

Congratulations to our winners, Vice Captain Matthew Head and his partner Roger Edwards, who posted an outstanding 42 points. Close behind as runners-up were Medwyn Roberts and Tony Hughes with very respectable 40 points.

Matthew and Roger will now go on, for the second year running, to represent the club in this year’s R&A 9 Hole Challenge.

Well done to everyone who took part ⛳🏌️‍♂️
