It’s a beautiful day and the Duver Marina is busy with visiting boats who arrived on this morning’s tide. We’re gearing up for Rock the Boat this evening, with live music from 6pm courtesy of Capital G, followed by the Lazerhearts. The Duver Café is cooking up a scrumptious BBQ from 5.30pm and Steve’s Bar is open and quenching thirsts. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Raising funds for a wonderful Island charity, the Sophie Rolf Trust, KissyPuppy, tickets: adult £12, 5-15 years £6, under 5s free, available online to 5pm: https://portal.eharbours.co.uk/?subSystem=eHarboursBembridge - or on the “gate”.

Rock-the-Boat at the Duver Marina is TOMORROW - Saturday 13th June!! The weather is looking brighter and we can’t wait for the music to kick off at 6pm!! We have 2 great Islands bands - Capital G and The Lazerhearts. The Duver Café will be cooking up a BBQ from 5.30pm and Steve’s Bar will be open throughout to quench thirsts. Music through to about 10.30pm.

The Harbour Water Taxi will be running from the Duver Marina, drops/pick-ups from Bembridge Beach, Fishermans, Bembridge Marina. Fares apply. Summon on 01983 872828 ext 2

This event is in support of the Sophie Rolf Trust, KissyPuppy with proceeds from ticket sales going to this wonderful Island charity, who are partnered with Mountbatten IoW and work closely with local NHS Teams supporting children and their families.

The annual Bembridge Gig Fest event is upon us and we are looking forward to welcoming traditional 10m fixed-seat rowing boats - Cornish Pilot Gigs and Solent Galleys - to the Harbour for an action-packed weekend of racing, rowing and socialising. Boats and crews from Swanage, Eastney, Langstone, Wittering and more locally, Island Harbour, will join event co-organisers Yarmouth Gig Rowing Club. There'll be 1km sprint racing on Saturday (30th May) from 10:30, starting off Priory Bay and finishing at St Helens Church and on Sunday (31st), heads-style timed racing around St Helens Fort from 11:00.
