The winter handicap competition is available to join, finals night will be mid December. Date to follow.
There is also the usual prize draw that will be running up to early December.

Following the Covid 19 Tier 2 ruling that came in just after midnight last night ( Friday) for this area the Club needs to review it’s present operation. It is clear that snooker between people from different households is not legal and it would not be possible to police this if we just allowed the very limited numbers who are from the same household to play but everybody else not. Therefore the snooker tables are to be covered with both lightweight and heavy covers for the time being and snooker is not allowed at all from closure last night.

Also it will be table service only and you have to wear a face covering until you sit down. Tables and chairs will be positioned to provide social distancing to the best of our ability.

Same hours are to be maintained at present but these will be monitored. The bar is fully operational but you must not stand at the bar for any reason.

If you have any questions on the above please message the club or ask the Steward..

I assume that Tier 3 or even full lockdown is to follow very soon which will mean that we would close at that point.

The club's executive committee is currently assessing the ongoing Corona Virus situation.

We are hoping to have the club open and running again in July, ONLY if the social distancing measures are relaxed down to 1 metre sanctioned by the government.

Please keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and website feeds for more updates.

18/03/2020

Attention. Following the scaling up of the Government's instructions in the present Corona Virus situation, it has been decided that the club will close at midnight on Wednesday 18th March 2020 and will remain closed until further notice.

We have a duty to both staff and members with many of our members being identified as more venerable. It left us with this sensible decision.

Therefore there will be NO access at all onto the club premises from close of business on Wednesday 18th March.

If you have any questions regarding the club, please contact us via email, details on our Contact Us page.

Thank you
