What a fantastic day we had yesterday at our Club Mixed Singles Competition, generously sponsored by Ann Connell and the Connell family in memory of our dear friend and long-time member, Hugh Connell.

Congratulations to Barney Gavan, who battled through the competition unbeaten to take the top spot – a brilliant achievement, well done Barney!

Runner-up honours went to Lynda McLaughlin, who played some excellent bowls throughout the day. A mention also to our semi-finalists, Eddie Murphy and James Watson, for their strong performances.

A fantastic day was enjoyed at our Ladies’ Friendship Day.

Thank you to all our lady members and invited guests for making it such a great success. A special thank you also to our gents, who did a brilliant job preparing and serving the food for the ladies.

Sheets are available behind the bar on Wednesday night, Friday night, and from 2pm on Saturday.
