Here are 4 small & very manageable things we can do to help shift some unwanted lbs.

Exercise 🏋️‍♀️
doing a 20-30 mins home work can be just as effective than doing countless hours in the gym.

Walking🚶
30 min walk can burn up too 200-300 calories, and it has so many other benefits..who hasn’t got a spare 30 mins.

Cut back alcohol & reduce sugar intake🍷

Not saying stop drinking all together, try reducing it,..swap out wines, beers for lower calorie drink like clear spirits with low calorie mixers.

Research says that sugar and alcohol can actually worsen the effects on menopause, such as hot flushes & night sweats 🥵

In males can lower testosterone levels & lowering your libido.😩

which all of this can have a knock on effect to your sleep & energy levels, effecting your activity output.

Making very small changes to your lifestyle can have such a BIG impact on your health and start shifting those extra few lbs.

Over my fitness career I’ve trained & helped 100s of ladies going through the menopause.

When I was training my clients in the past I noticed a few things such as..

Energy levels..
One day they were all fired up for training & then the next they were struggle to just to do a basic warm up.

Mental health:
Some clients were very emotional, feeling low, depressed, loss of confidence and cancelling sessions at the last minute which they hadn’t before.

Weight issues.
Weight gain was an issue a lot of them had all in common.
I was we’re going over food diaries, questioning if they were tracking everything they were eating.

So I decided to look into this subject more, by doing research & taken some courses on the subject, so I could get a better understanding what my clients bodies were going through this tough time.

I have successfully helped many ladies to feel fitter, healthier, stronger and most importantly feel good within themselves.

I’m on a mission this year to help as many ladies as I can to get in shape, feel more confident and fell happier..

As well as getting back into my fitness, I’ve been working on my mental strength.

Over the past 8 months I’ve been adopting 3 small habits into my daily routine,such as..

meditation 🧘‍♀️
cold water therapy 💦
and nature walks 🚶

Working on our mental health before our bodies is a great way to approach our overall well-being.

It allows us to cultivate mental clarity and focus.

So when you have that mental clarity & focus, you’ll be more likely to succeed in your training and life.

If you’re struggling with your mental health/ focus, have brain 🧠 fog most of the time..

Try doing guided meditation or cold water therapy, for 10 days and see how you feel…
As well as getting out in nature at the weekend or your days off.

Guided meditation 🧘‍♀️
only takes 5 mins out your day, there’s loads of apps or videos on YouTube to try.

Cold water 💦 therapy.
I know this isn’t for everyone, but try 30 secs in a cold shower the crank up the warm water, then at the end of your shower turned it back to cold for another 30sec.

Walks in nature.
Is the best medicine for your mental health..FACT! And it’s free.

Allow me to introduce myself

Over the past 18 months I took a break from the fitness industry to focus on myself, rebuild my confidence, my physical & mental health...so allow me to re-introduce myself 👋

Hi my name is Michael Chance and I’ve worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years.
Over the years I have worked in multiple gym spaces where I have done Personal training & ran Bootcamp. I also owned and ran a fitness studio , Micxfit, where I ran small group training ,fitness classes, bootcamps and one to one personal training.

My fitness back ground is predominantly working with males over 30 & females in their 30-60+ where I specialise in peri menopausal & menopause.

I’ve helped 100s of males and females to get in awesome shape, shift those unwanted lbs and keep it off.

My goal for 2024 is to help as many males & females in their 40s+ and to show you that getting old doesn’t mean that it’s too late to get in shape.

I want to retrain your mindset to believe that you still have a chance to change 😉, that you’re in your prime right now, too feel healthier,fitter ,stronger and rocket 🚀 your confidence feeling like your younger self once again.
