Wavebreakers Learn to swim programme run by Alliance Swimming Club and Diamonds Waterpolo in North Belfast

Alliance Wavebreakers is the learn to swim programme of Alliance ASC, the North Belfast swimming club. The aim of the Wavebreakers programme is to introduce children in North Belfast to swimming, and to help them become confident and safe in the water. Our lessons are subsidised by the club to make them affordable, while also keeping the teacher-pupil ratio very low (typically 3:1 for Swim Ireland

Levels 1 to 3). We hope that many of our 'graduates' will decide to go on into competitive swimming, whether with Alliance or elsewhere. Lessons take place on Friday evenings at the Belfast Royal Academy (BRA) pool on Cliftonville Road Belfast, and will begin in September 2017.

Learn to Swim with THE North Belfast and Newtownabbey swimming club. Registration for Wavebreakers Learn to Swim opens tomorrow, 10th August for existing members and 17th August for new members. *NEW* We are now accepting learners from 3 1/2 years old.
