Now that's what you call a homecoming celebration! 🎉

A huge thank you to The Executive Office and Speaker of the Assembly Edwin Poots MLA for hosting such a memorable event for team Ulster's athletes. We were also delighted to welcome Junior Ministers Aisling Reilly MLA and Joanne Bunting MLA, along with Communities Minister Gordon Lyons MLA.

The afternoon kicked off with a Law Enforcement Torch Run, joined by the Police Service of Northern Ireland and An Garda Síochána. The event was made even more special as it also marked the 30th anniversary of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, whose unwavering support continues to champion inclusion for our athletes.

Dame Mary Peters was due to join us last Thursday to wish Team Ulster good luck ahead of the Special Olympics Ireland Games. While the event couldn't go ahead as planned, she still wanted to send a special message of support to all of our athletes. 💙

While we're disappointed that tonight's launch event for the Ireland Games couldn't go ahead as planned, our excitement and pride for Team Ulster remains as strong as ever. 💙

This video was due to be unveiled this evening, and even though we couldn't come together in person, we still wanted to share it with you as we celebrate the incredible athletes, coaches and volunteers who will head to Dublin next week.

Over the coming days, we'll be cheering on Team Ulster every step of the way 🙌
