Founded in 1956, the Belfast Branch of the British Sub Aqua Club is proud to be the oldest scuba diving club in Ireland. Becoming Branch No. 30 of BSAC on 29th February 1956, our club has spent seven decades exploring, training and diving both at home and abroad.

Based in Northern Ireland, Dive Belfast is powered by passionate, BSAC-accredited instructors — including a current Regional Coach for Ireland — delivering high-quality scuba training and skills development across a wide range of BSAC qualifications.

Our core purpose?
To organise unforgettable SCUBA diving expeditions for our members — from the stunning waters of Northern Ireland to exciting overseas destinations.
