How to approach training while managing a medical condition. These three principles were the key to me training multiple times a day while prioritizing my well-being. There is no point training if it is not benefiting your health outside of the gym💪

➡️Listening to your body is crucial—your body often gives you signals about when you can push harder or when you need to take it easy. The faster you find these signals the better your training will be 🔥

➡️Fuelling for sessions: Everyone’s needs are different, so finding the right nutrition and hydration strategies for your specific condition is important for both performance and recovery🥗

➡️Accepting that not every day will be the same: This is such an important mindset to have. Not every day will feel perfect, and that’s okay. It’s all about consistency over time, not perfection 📈

MOTIVATION

Staying motivated can be tough, so here’s 7 points that I take into my own life and training which may help with your own training:

1. Set Clear Goals: big goals are great but what small goal will get you towards that big goal
2. Create a Routine: A consistent routine is 🔑
3. Find Your “Why”: Remind yourself why you’re doing what you’re doing
4. Surround Yourself with Positivity☀️
5. Celebrate Progress: Recognize even the smallest victories
6. Take Breaks: Burnout kills motivation
7. Visualize Success: Imagine the feeling of achieving your goals 🔥

CLIENT RESULTS 💪

This is one of my clients and first photo is 6 weeks back, the second photo is this week. This client has absolutely smashed their programming and stuck to everything I gave him. The crazy difference is this clients number on the scale did indeed increase but due to his increase of muscle mass improving all his strength numbers. I guided his nutrition for Monday to Friday and he enjoyed his weekends.

The main reasons we fall out of love with the gym or disregard our goals.

Firstly, we put all this pressure on ourselves to achieve our goals whether it is gain muscle, get stronger or lose that bit of fat. Everyone wants it to happen straight away but one of the major things the gym taught myself and many others is patience. Nothing happens over night. Start small and build, small but many goals frequently will beat the trying for that bigger goal🔥

Secondly, we completely forget that the physical training is the easy bit, everything else outside of the gym plays a factor. The nutrition and the sleep is where the gains are really made. When you figure a balance of the right amount of sleep, eating the right amount of calories then the gym becomes 10x more enjoyable and the results start to show💪

Be patient in the gym, become consistent in daily life and watch those goals head your way.
