🖤💛 Happy Father’s Day from ACFC 💛🖤

Today we want to celebrate all of the incredible dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, coaches and volunteers who play such an important role in our ACFC family.

To the dads on the sidelines in all weathers, the taxi drivers, kit washers, boot tiers, match-day supporters and biggest cheerleaders, thank you for everything you do to help our young players enjoy and develop their love of football.

To our fantastic coaches, many of whom give up precious family time every week to support, encourage and inspire our children, your dedication never goes unnoticed. The positive impact you have on our players extends far beyond football and helps shape confident, resilient and respectful young people.

Today we celebrate every one of you and the difference you make, not just to your own children, but to our entire club community.

We also want to send some extra love today to those who are spending Father’s Day without their dad. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, we know days like today can bring a mixture of emotions. Please know that you are thought of, you are not alone, and your ACFC family is sending you love and strength today.

We hope you all have a fantastic Father’s Day and get the appreciation you truly deserve.

⚽🖤💛 Happy Father’s Day from everyone at Andersonstown Community Football Club. 💛🖤⚽

ACFC TEAM OF THE YEAR 2026

Our 2017s are our 2025-26 Team of the Year, its been a year full of ups and downs for the kids, but they stuck together and kept going as a team.

They finished the season in style winning their 1st ever trophy, when they came home as champions for the Crumlin United Cup.

Well done boys and girls and keep up the hard work.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has helped out, with our 2017s this year and made sure they kept playing football.

Thank you to Darren, Mick, Danielle, Louise and to their new coaches Lavo and Caolan.

The kids and coaches are looking forward to next season already and a new challenge with 7aside.

ACFC End of Season Celebration 2026

What a fantastic day celebrating the season 2025/26, and 7 years of ACFC

It's been a memorable year for lots of reasons and the smiles on the faces of all the kids yesterday was brilliant to see.

We would like to thank our brilliant photographer Joe Carberry Photography for once again capturing all the best parts of the day.

What an amazing day! 🏆🖤💛

Not one, but two fantastic celebrations today for our youngest ACFC teams.

Hosted by our great friends at Sarsfields, we welcomed our teams from 2017 right down to our youngest 2021 players across two presentation sessions. It was wonderful to see all of our young players proudly wearing their club colours as they received their end-of-season trophies and certificates, and to hear about the fantastic personal awards chosen by their coaches.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing players for their outstanding behaviour throughout the day. You represented your club brilliantly and celebrated each other’s achievements exactly as great teammates should.

To our parents, thank you for your continued support. From early mornings and busy evenings to training sessions and matchdays, we know how much time and effort goes into making football possible for your children. We truly appreciate everything you do.

A special thank you must go to our incredible coaches. Without your commitment, dedication and countless volunteer hours, these teams simply would not be what they are today. You give your time, energy and passion to help create opportunities, memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of this club and help make the dream possible for so many young people. Thank you for being such an important part of their village.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our fantastic DJ, Ruairi Carson, for providing the soundtrack to today’s celebrations. 🎶 From the first trophy presentation to the last dance, Ruairi helped create a brilliant atmosphere that added to the fun and excitement of the day for players, parents and coaches alike.

A massive thank you also to our favourite photographer (aside from our own Seanna, of course! 😆📸), Joe Carberry. Over the years, Joe has captured some truly fantastic images of our players, preserving so many special memories for families and the club alike. Whether it’s a trophy lift, a goal celebration or somehow managing to get dozens of excited children standing in the right place at the right time, Joe always manages it. The photos he produces tell the story of our club and our players better than words ever could, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he does for ACFC.

Speaking of Seanna, a very special thank you to her for the fantastic slideshow presentations she put together for today’s event. Seeing themselves on the big screen was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day for many of our young players, and the smiles on their faces said it all. Beyond today, Seanna works tirelessly behind the scenes on countless aspects of the club that many people never see. Her dedication, organisation and commitment to ACFC are second to none, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our club family. 🖤💛

A huge thank you to Shauna’s Celebrations for the beautiful decorations in our hall today. 🎈 The room looked absolutely fantastic and added so much to the excitement, atmosphere and sense of occasion for all of our young players and their families. The attention to detail helped make the day feel even more special for everyone who attended.

Finally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our fantastic sponsors whose support helps make everything we do possible for our players and families. A huge thank you to O’Neill’s Funeral Directors, Carey Cleaning Services, O’Neill’s Solicitors and Arthur’s Coffee for their continued support of ACFC.

We would also like to give special thanks to O’Neill’s Solicitors for generously donating the fantastic signed Celtic shirt for our club raffle, which will be drawn on the 28th of June. ⚽🍀

The support of local businesses, volunteers, parents and our wider community is vital to grassroots football, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who plays a part in helping our club grow and thrive.

Today was a celebration of much more than football. It was a celebration of community, friendship, teamwork and the incredible young people who make ACFC such a special place to be.

Thanks as always, another season proudly and successfully smashed by our entirety ACFC Family. 🖤💛

One Club. One Community. ⚽🏆🖤💛
