I like to challenge everyone in the class but at their own ability and cater for their own individual needs. I teach both classical and modified Pilates exercises. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE CLASS? (Although I always have a few spare mats)
WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR? Comfortable clothing, for example, Track bottoms, leggings, t-shirt, vest... Shoes are not required, you can do Pilates bare footed or with socks. WHY DO PILATES? Pilates is a mind and body fitness regime that combines a system of stretching and strengthening excercises developed by Joseph Pilates. It strengthens, tones and lengthens muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance and unites the body and mind. My Pilates classes offer a full body work and regular practice will rebalance your body, reduce stress, improve endurance and internal strength and make you look and feel better and therefore you will feel more confident and taller in both the physical and mental sense. Pilates helps you become more productive mentally and physically, in everyday life including at home, work and the gym. My Pilates classes are suitable for all abilities and they will compliment any sport or activity.
