Aoife began dancing at the age of four in her hometown of Cashel with the Anne Whelan School, Tipperary and later joining the renowned Scoil Ui Nuallain, Limerick. For the next ten years Aoife competed at both a local, national and international level winning many accolades. After becoming a world medal holder with An Coimisiun le Rince Gaelacha Aoife retired from competitions to persue a professi
onal career in Irish Dancing. During her school years Aoife was invited to perform with Bru Boru, an affiliate of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, performing to tourists from all over the world. During her time with Bru Boru Aoife danced at both the Leinster House and Mansion House as well as travelling to many Irish Embassies across Europe. Aoife later toured with Celtic Legends , performing to audiences throughout France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Tunisia. Aoife qualified as a secondary school teacher in 2010 and has been teaching Science and Chemistry ever since. She is currently on a career break from her school in Waterford and residing in Dubai. Aoife has recently completed her T.C.R.G exams and looking forward to starting the Dubai Irish Dance Company.
