Belfast Trojans The Official page for the six-time and current Shamrock Bowl Champions, the Belfast Trojans. We also have several fully capped Irish internationals.

We have a senior fully kitted team that compete in the American Football Ireland Premier Division, under NCAA rules. We also have two flag football teams (non-contact) that compete in the Flag Premier Division & Div 1. In 2021, w

e are launching our first ever Youth Team for athletes aged between 15 and 18 years old. The team train at Belfast Harlequins RFC and everybody is welcome. No previous experience in playing American football is necessary. The team is made up of individuals from all communities in the province, and also consists of many from outside Northern Ireland. You will find players on our roster from as far away as France, Canada, USA and Lebanon. The Belfast Trojans prides itself on it’s multi-cultural complex. Interested in Playing? We play full contact American Football, you do NOT need experience of playing the sport to come down, in fact most of our team started out by simply watching it on T.V. It’s a fun/tough game that provides a new experience for anyone wanting to take part…By the way, its not a soft game, try it if you think so! Coaching
The Trojans have an excellent set of coaches, with NFL experience, something that is rarely found at this level. Training
Training with the Trojans takes place at Belfast Harlequins RFC, Deramore Park, Belfast. Although the sport is full contact, no kit is necessary for your first visit. Join us on Saturday 3rd October, as we celebrate 20 years of The Belfast Trojans American Football Club 🏈

This will be a fantastic evening celebrating two decades of Trojans football, countless shared memories both on and off the field, our Club successes, and most importantly, the people who have made the Club what it is today 💚
