I've forgotten to post the past 3 parkruns. I was distracted by my 2 beautiful babas who were waiting for me to cross the finish line. No better motivation!!
This week I am delighted for Sheenaz and Nuala to do their 2nd parkrun and both got a new pb today. First of many 😁
I also have a new pb of 32.56 and keen to get it below 32mins before my 40th next month 😱 🏃‍♀️👌

This morning I couldn't think of anything worse than heading out to do a parkrun in the rain!! With little sleep, I woke feeling like I had a hangover. My motivation for going was knowing how I'd feel mentally once I crossed the line. It wasn't about time today.
So glad I went! The rain stopped, I crossed the line and my bonus was beating last weeks time by 1 min 4 secs!! 33min 44secs.
Feeling rather pleased that I've changed my mood for the day ahead through running. One of many reasons why I love exercise.

So week 2 of parkrun and I beat my PB 34 mins 48 secs woohoo. Next week is going to be painful!!!

Special thanks goes to the girl who ran alongside me and kept a good steady pace. Without her I would have walked for a bit! Love being pushed to see what my body can do.

So I've been a little quite of late, mostly due to my pride and joy in my arms on the left 😍

The picture on the right is my intro back into fitness after having had the all clear from my 6 weeks post natal check - my very first parkrun. I came 496th out of 548 runners, 32nd in my age group with a time of 36 mins. As much as it hurt I loved it!!!

More updates to come on my journey back into pre pregnancy clothes and smashing my parkrun PB 😊
