Demi Walker-Dallas graduated from Belfast Met in 2015 with a distinction in HND Performing Arts Dance. She is a long-standing member of UKAdance - the award body validated by the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre based in Blackpool. Demi holds UKA teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Highland and National dance with this prestigious dance organisation. Demi also holds teaching qualifications in Acrobatic Arts - a network with over 8000 studios across 50 countries. Demi began her dance journey as a pupil at the Gillian Jones Dance Academy over 20 years ago and continues to teach alongside Gillian at studios in Newtownabbey and Antrim, Hollywood and Lisburn and Castlereagh. Demi has performed at many high profile and exciting events across NI including the European Ballet on Tour in Ireland, the Belfast Tattoo, the Walled City Tattoo, Burns Night at the Waterfront, Miss Northern Ireland and Channel 4s popular Come Dine with Me. A particular highlight for Demi was performing with the Elite Ice Hockey Belfast Giants’ cheerleading team for the 2018/2019 season. Demi is passionate about highland dance and provides classes and workshops to schools and community groups across NI in conjunction with the Ulster Scots Agency. She also runs a weekly class in Greyabbey which provides a safe, friendly and fun environment for children to learn new steps, participate in medal testing and to perform at local events.
