I'm stoked to share with you all an amazing new opportunity we've been awarded. As many of you know, we deliver BMX & urban sports events outside of the shop. EXCEL US is our new 2 year long youth engagement project! 😁
We have the go-ahead to reach out and recruit young people aged 8 to 16 years old living in the Ards & North down Borough council area to join in on our 10hr Urban sports programmes.
The Excel US project will give kids and teens a chance to learn how to ride & maintain BMX bikes, Try out Skateboarding, Try out Stunt Scootering & Get involved in Parkour too. Our partner facilitators will also be delivering engaging and educational good relations workshops to break down and remove barriers between young people in our society all while having a blast on bike, board and at Skateparks.
Pretty Epic!
