Closure announcement
It is with great sadness that we must announce that BFIT Belfast will unfortunately be closing its doors on 2nd December.
This has been the hardest decision to make and one thatโs been postponed for as long as humanly possible, but unfortunately, with a mix of an increase in operating costs, continual recovery from the pandemic, and further cost rises in the near future, it has got to the stage where continuing under our current model/structure, simply isnโt viable.
At the forefront, BFIT is an independently owned, family business with zero financial assistance. As a private independent, we attempted to keep costs low for our members in comparison to other similar facilities. This is because we wanted to create a space that was welcoming, non-judgemental and safe, with a high quality service that was affordable for ALL.
Thank you to all the people that have supported BFIT over these last number of years. It was for all of you and it wouldnโt have been possible without our members.
Thank you to the coaches who made a positive impact also. Special thanks to Nathan and Catherine, I think we can all agree they are superstars.
Finally, Iโd just like to again thank you all. Itโs been so hard, yet so rewarding and itโs so sad we canโt keep fighting, but itโs just become impossible.
All that being said, I am working on a new, improved service, launching early 2023, so keep an eye out. Email [email protected] directly if youโd be interested in whatโs next. Old members will be looked afterโฆโฆ
We wish you all the best in the future, youโre all the best.
