Dub Runners of Belfast

Dub Runners is a friendly, sociable running club with a mixture of ages, experience and abilities, based at the Upper Malone Road playing fields.

Come join the fun. Training is at 7pm on a Tuesday and Thursday night, meeting at the new QUB Sports Centre at Upper Malone, Belfast. On a Sunday morning training is at 9am, meeting at the car park adjacent to Belfast Boat Club.

Dubs do Laganside 10K!!!!

Congratulations to our Dubs running the Laganside 10K today - special shoutout to Aaron for his new PB on a very warm day 🥳 Big thank you to Dubs supporting and cheering on the route. Dubs do Portaferry 10 Miles

We had lots of Dubs taking part in one of our favourite races the Portaferry 10 Miles & 5 Mile relay in the beautiful countryside in the sunshine. Congratulations to Portaferry Gala Festival for such a well organised & supported race - we even got a ‘Well Done’ from local legend Ciara Mageean & we love the new medal 🥰🏃‍♀️🏃🏃🏻‍♂️🩵☀️🩵💙

A few of us switched our trainers for our hiking boots yesterday & headed up the Mournes. We had a beautiful day with stunning scenery & even a dip in the Blue Lake 🥾🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️⛰️☀️🩵💙

Dubs don’t do Swimming 😢

Unfortunately we won’t be able to run the Giant’s Trail Race this year.

Part of the route on the Minnowburn tow path has been washed away and we cannot guarantee that it will be fixed before the end of July. As runners safety is paramount & we have no desire to add a ‘swimming in the Lagan’ element to the race we are very reluctantly having to cancel this year’s event. We understand the disappointment & frustration but unfortunately, we are out of options. We really appreciate your understanding & hope you will join us next year 😢🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏃‍♀️🤷‍♀️🩵💙 ‎
