Been fairly quiet on here this year.

That was intentional.

Being glued to our phones isn’t great for anyone 📵

Hard to tell what’s real these days.

AI generated photos and videos.

Posts written by chat bots.

Not really my thing, but each to their own.

Feels like there’s a shift happening.

Less time on the apps. More being present.

Still here. Still doing the work 💪🏼

Keep showing up.

Not for likes or validation.
Not for strangers online.

For yourself.

Many love the idea of getting in shape.

But when push comes to shove, it’s put on the back burner.

People don’t get in shape by accident - it’s no fluke.

It’s the small daily actions that add up over time 👊🏼

They make it a priority. It becomes part of their routine - not just for physical, but mental benefits too ✅

You’ve got to put in the sets and reps to make it happen.

So ask yourself (and be honest):

‘Am I committed to the process, or just excited by the idea?’

2024…

A year of ups and downs. That’s life.

Here’s a few things I’ve learned along the way 👇

1️⃣ Health and time
Two of the most valuable things you’ll ever have.
Look after your health, it’ll buy you more time.

2️⃣ Stop caring what people think
You’ll get criticism no matter what you do, good or bad. Crack on.

3️⃣ Raise your standards
If you’re still doing the same things you were five or ten years ago, it’s time for a rethink.
Progress needs change, personally and professionally.

4️⃣ Support others
If someone’s trying to improve, back them.
Help when you can, chances are you’ll need it yourself someday.

5️⃣ Think for yourself
Stop looking for validation from strangers online.
Do your thing, have a laugh and let people talk.

If you’ve made it this far, have a great Christmas and make the most of it 🎄

Did you hit your health and fitness goals this year?

With 2024 nearly wrapped up, it’s a good time to look back.

What worked and what didn’t.

If you hit your goals – happy days.

If you fell short, don’t beat yourself up. Reset, refocus, recharge⚡️

Ask yourself: were you following any sort of structure this year?

If not, that’s something to sort heading into 2025 🎯

Even with a plan, were you consistent with sleep, cardio, nutrition and recovery?

You’ll know yourself.

Progress comes from doing the basics right and staying consistent ✅

Going against the grain here…

Loads of ‘survival guides’ are popping up, almost sending people into panic mode.

Worried that Christmas will undo all your hard work..

It won’t. It’s just a few days.

If you’ve been training hard all year, a few days off-plan is well deserved.

Just don’t take the p**s 😎

Train up to Christmas, take a few days to unwind, then get back to it. Easy 💪🏼

Winter is right around the corner.

Motivation’s low, and getting going is that much harder.

This is when many hit pause on their goals… until January.

But stopping now just means starting over later.

We can’t control the weather, but we can adapt.

It’s easy to ease off this time of year, but imagine how much further ahead you’ll be if you don’t.

Don’t let a change in weather set you back.

Stay focused on your goals.
