Yoga Quarter Yoga Quarter is a local yoga studio in Ballyhackamore. Warm, welcoming, vibrant local yoga studios in the heart of East Belfast and South Belfast.

Happy Summer Solstice 🌞

The longest day of the year is often seen as a time to pause, reflect and reconnect, with ourselves, with nature and with the people around us.

A reminder to soak up the light, slow down where you can and make space for the things that nourish you.

Why can slow yoga sometimes feel harder than fast yoga?

In faster moving classes like Vinyasa, it can be easier to stay focused on movement and momentum.

Slower practices like Yin Yoga, create space to notice what’s happening underneath the surface, your breathing pattern, physical tension, racing thoughts, emotions and energy levels.

Slowing down asks us to be present with ourselves without distraction, which can be surprisingly challenging.

Sometimes, being still is the hardest part.

At Yoga Quarter, we offer a wide range of classes, from strong, energising flows to slower, deeply restorative practices, because both have their place 🤍

Our Summer Solstice celebrations are here 🌞

This is the first of two solstice events at Yoga Quarter, a chance to come together, slow down, and honour the longest day of the year through practice and community.

How to Use Props In Your Yoga Practice

Aids are used in Yoga to deepen your stretches safely, improve alignment and stability and whilst they are useful for beginners, they can benefit users at all experience levels.
