We did it!! We even got an extra lap in on our way to raising £942!! All in all it was a lovely sunny day and we took the time to skate, laugh and live. We reminded each other of the good times. Thats it for us as a league but we are considering making this skatathon an annual event to raise money for hood causes.

On a personal note....I've been here from the very start and seen all.the highs and lows and loved it all. I've played every position, I've coached, I've recruited and I will miss this sport I've loved for so long.

We at HWRD have bittersweet news for you today - we will be coming together as a team for the final time, on sunday the 25th of July, to try and raise some money for The Rainbow Project here in Belfast (for details follow the link).

We have strived to provide a space where any and all could feel welcome and learn about the wonderful sport that is Roller Derby, and we've made some cherished memories and friends that we wouldn't swap for the world. But due to declining members, it's time for this iteration of HWRD to come to an end.

We'd like to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported, has been a part of, or even cheered on HWRD from afar - Thank you, your support was always appreciated, and we were lucky to have it. 💖

Hi Peeps! Hope you're all keeping safe and sound at this time. Bit late for the challenge, there was a mix up on Docs time machine as its croissant powered.
