After 15 years, 3 rebrands and 4 locations, Castrum Fitness is officially closing
Very few people can truly say that they love their job, however, I have been privileged enough to jump out of bed almost every day excited about the day ahead
I’ve met some of the best people, made lifelong friends and was fortunate enough to continue to work with amazing athletes along the way
I still regularly get to see members who I have coached since 2010, get to train with close friends, and have got to watch so many incredible people transition from teens and young adults into the amazing humans that they have become
While many gyms and s&c facilities throw out wild claims about being the best, we quietly and legally worked through COVID with our elite athletes while most gyms were forced to close, achieving world class results along the way
Watching Castrum members compete at every level from the Crossfit Open, to Wodapolooza and the Crossfit Games, and from Regional to National Championship level, through to European & World Championships, Commonwealth & Olympic Games has been amazing.
That being said, I am very much looking forward to spending a lot more time at home and getting to watch our kids grow into the wonderful people that they will eventually become
Castrum could and would not have existed without our amazing members; so a huge thank you to every member who has crossed our doors over the years.
Furthermore, Castrum would certainly never have been half the set up that it is today without and , who have been with us from since 2013; so a very special thank you to you both
