Tuesday - Full Body Pull Session

Session looked like this today:

• Seated Hamstring Curl ×2
• Barbell RDL ×2
• Plate Loaded Hip Thrust ×2
• Seated Calf Raise ×3
• Unilateral D-Handle Pulldown ×2
• Seated Cable Row ×2
• High Incline Bicep Curl ×3

I’ve always liked this session style, especially on days where I don’t always have a tonne of time to train. It allows you to target the entire posterior chain in one session, and you can easily manipulate sets and reps to bring up any lagging body parts.

- Dumbbell Side Lateral Raise ×3
- Cross Body Tricep Extension ×4

2025 is officially the year I’ll never forget✅

There’s not enough space on this collage to showcase the year I’ve had, but it’s been a year filled with experiences I’ll carry forever.

• Atlas turning one - an incredible milestone for us. A hugely successful first year, with many more to come.
• Becoming a godfather to Layla - a privilege I’ll always be grateful for.
• The wedding of a lifetime - an unforgettable weekend surrounded by friends and family. Not to mention all the weekends spent celebrating beforehand.
• Ending the year with a South-East Asian honeymoon, a life-changing experience that I’ll never forget.

Grateful for it all and ready for another successful year in 2026🫡

This is what happens when the correct structure and proper programming replace guesswork.

Rachel approached me having previously worked with a personal trainer, but like many of us, her progress stalled during the Covid years.

Coming out of that period, she was diagnosed with PCOS and spent the next three years struggling to see any real progress with her weight loss efforts - despite consistently trying different methods.

Alongside this, she works in an extremely high-stress job, which made routine and consistency difficult to maintain given the nature of her role.

Client Spotlight: 🐝🔥

Just over 6 weeks ago, Bronagh came to me stuck in the same old boring routine. Training 3–4 times per week, going through the motions, and seeing little to no progress.

With a summer holiday on the horizon, she officially had a goal to work towards — something to give her training direction again.

Coming from a seriously high-level powerlifting background, I knew straight away she thrives off structure — with someone in her corner keeping her accountable and pushing her in the right direction.

Fast forward 6 weeks, and the results speak for themselves.

We’ve added noticeable muscularity across her frame, dropped a considerable amount of body fat, and most importantly — she’s built back a level of self-confidence that goes way beyond a number on the scales.

Small Changes, Big Results

One of the most common questions I hear is, “How long will it take to see results?” The truth is, it’s not about how quickly you can transform—it’s about making consistent, minor improvements each week. These small changes build momentum and, over time, result in the physique you’re aiming for.

Take my own 16-week transformation as an example. Every week, I focused on perfecting the basics: hitting my training, nailing my nutrition, and prioritizing recovery. Even with two holidays, social events, and plenty of indulgences, I stayed consistent where it mattered most. Those weekly efforts added up to a result I was proud of.

If you’re aiming to be in your best shape this summer, the next 2-3 months are crucial. Focus on building the habits now—consistent training, mindful nutrition, and quality recovery. These habits will set the foundation for the physique you want when the summer months arrive.

First Pull Session of 2025! Fuelled by nothing but a week of turkey and pints—starting the year strong!

If I could give one small piece of advice to anyone starting their 2025 fitness journey, it’s this:

➡️ Set a clear goal.
➡️ Give yourself a deadline to achieve it.
➡️ Write and build a plan that takes you directly from where you are now to where you want to be in 3, 6, and 12 months’ time.

Remember, although every plan may seem perfect on paper, it will need constant assessment and adjustments to keep you aligned with your goals. As you progress, your body will change, and the targets you’ve set for yourself should evolve alongside it.

So my recommendation? Find a coach who understands these variables and knows exactly how to manipulate them to help you achieve your fitness goals.
