🏑End of season Fundraising Tournament and Prize Giving 🏑

Dear Player/Parent,

On Saturday 21s March, we are concluding the season with our annual Fund Raiser, with Handicap Tournament and Prize Giving.
The U12s, U13s, and U14s will compete in a round robin tournament as will the 1sts, 2nds and U15s.

*All boys and families to attend.

The U12s and 1sts should wear black, the U13s and 2nds should wear red, the U14s and U15s should wear white shirts.

Players must assemble before 9am as matches will commence at 9.15am.
The matches will be 15mins each way.

Immediately after the final games, we will present the trophies and presentations.

Tea, coffee, tray bakes and hot dogs will be available to purchase. We would really appreciate your support on the morning. Hopefully you will come along spectate and purchase some refreshments to support our club.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the boys for all their efforts this season, parents for their support and taxiing service and all the coaches for their hard work.
I look forward to starting again in the new academic year.

I think you'll agree that the pitches on a Saturday morning are a great place to be. There is some excellent hockey being played and there is a great atmosphere generated.
A big part of that comes from the small group of volunteers who give of their time to assist with the tea/coffee stall. To them, I extend a great deal of thanks and gratitude but also a plea to others to help.

Finally, if anyone would be interested in sponsoring the Hockey Club, as we move forward, progress still further and develop hockey within CCB, please speak to myself.

‼️ No fixtures this weekend - 14th March ‼️

📣 That means more time to prepare for the biggest event of the year... The end of season hockey tournament for all teams from u12 through to 1st XI.

We invite all our players, and their families to come down and support the hockey club on the last day of the 25/26 Season.

Enjoy the games, the awards ceremony and the treats at the side of the pitch.

We look forward to welcoming you all on Saturday 21st March.

Huge congratulations to our 1st XI players Josh, Cameron & Jamie, who have been selected in the Hockey Ireland u16 panel working towards a busy summer of hockey in 2026.

An emotional Saturday morning at Campbell today. Not only was it the last weekend off hockey for 2025, we sadly say farewell to Adam Norris from our staff team.

Adam has been such an important part of the success in the hockey club over the last couple of years. His commitment and work ethic with all the age groups have been valued by staff, pupils and parents.

He leaves us to return home to South Africa, back to study. Hopefully it won’t be the last we see off him but from everyone within the CCB Hockey Club we wish you the very best for the future.

The weather has played its part on this week’s fixtures.

Congratulations to our 2nd XI who have made the semi final of the Prior Shield thanks to a win in the only fixture of the week that went ahead on Wednesday in an impressive 4.0 victory over Grosvenor Grammar School

Saturday morning will see all of the junior section of the hockey club out for training at Ulster University Jordanstown.

Bus departs Campbell College KS1 car park at 8.30am.

Full set of fixtures this weekend with two big cup matches.

Campbell take on Friends’ School Lisburn in the last McCullough Cup game before the 1stXI take off next week to Limerick for the All Ireland School Boys.

2nd XI travel to sunny Shawsbridge to face off against Royal Belfast Academical Institution in the next round of the Prior Shield.

Come out and support the club for the last home fixture before the Halloween break.

A fantastic final Saturday of the hockey season despite the weather. A massive thank you to all the players, parents, coaches and umpires for their efforts this season. Congratulations to all the prize winners. Special mention to all the U6th boys who played for the last time. Thank you for the last 7 years. We wish everyone well and look forward to seeing you all next season!
