Another night with only 11 players available, so before the game we sat down in the changing room, worked out a formation and put together a game plan.
The girls executed it to perfection. From the first whistle to the last, they worked tirelessly for the full 90 minutes, dominated the game, and thoroughly deserved the win.
The opening goal came from a brilliantly worked set piece, finished with a fantastic header from Jodie. At the other end, Hope produced an outstanding save, tipping the ball over the bar to keep us in control.
There were so many positives throughout the team that it’s impossible to mention them all. Every single player gave everything and played their hearts out.
