Remembering “Big Mac” — Alan McDonald

Everyone at the Alan McDonald Soccer School of Excellence would like to take a moment today to remember “Big Mac” himself.

13 years ago, we lost not just a friend but a true legend of Northern Irish football.

As the years pass, it remains our privilege and honour to keep Alan’s memory alive through the soccer school — a place that continues to create wonderful memories for children, coaches, and families alike.

To all our coaches, staff, players past and present, and the parents who support us — thank you for helping us carry forward Alan’s legacy.

Forever remembered. 💚⚽️

🙌 A huge thank you from all of us at the Alan McDonald Soccer School of Excellence, proudly sponsored by The Harp and Crown Credit Union, to this year’s incredible physiotherapist – Sam from Regen NI! 🏥⚽️

Sam was absolutely brilliant throughout the event – not only keeping the kids in top shape through a few minor knocks, but also (and maybe most importantly 😅) looking after our coaches, who somehow found themselves on the physio table more than the players!

If you’re looking for a skilled, professional, and friendly physiotherapist, we can’t recommend Sam highly enough. 🙏 Check out his contact info in the image below – your body will thank you!
