Rd 2 of the Solmatix Renewables Ulster Karting Club Championship

There was a delayed start to the racing due to a medical emergency but the amazing people at St John Ambulance where on hand and where amazing as always. Glad to here the person is home and doing better.

The weather played havoc for everyone so making set up changes and decisions very difficult. Always learning on days like that.

Heat 1 cancelled

Heat 2 P1 & FL 💨

Heat 3 P5 raining and completely wrong set up

Final P3

Set up still wasn't great for the final but we held on and were pleased to get it across the line. Decent results for a crazy day of racing.

Massive well done to Billy Noble finishing P6 in the final and also having a challenging day racing.

🏁P1 and Driver of the Day🏁

Round 1 of the Solmatix Renewables Ulster Karting Club championship at Nutts Corner Circuit. After a long winter break it was good to be back racing. The weather was lovely which made for some great racing 🏎

Heat 1 P4 FL ⏱️
Heat 2 P2
Heat 3 P5 FL ⏱️

Final*
Started p2 and after a bad start, i dropped back to 5th. But kept my head down and drove hard to catch back to the front. With one lap to go I caught up to the race leaders and quickly made a few moves to get to the front and crossing the line in P1 🏁🍾

I was also awarded Driver of the Day for making a good come back drive in the final 😁

Thank you as always to everyone that makes my racing possible especially my Dad 💪 and to all the marshals, volunteers and St johns ambulance.

Massive well done to my brother Billy Noble who finished 9th and had some great races and battles all day.
