What an incredible achievement, and her smile on the red carpet is what this is all about.
So very proud of you!

Race report is definitely easier to write when you are on a podium step, but where to start when nothing went well? How do you handle a “bad” race?
Raced 70.3 Sheephaven Triathlon today- 5min into the bike leg I snapped my chain. Quick road side patch up worked but lost 25min and half my easy gears (not ideal for the course!). I have admitted defeat and wanted to give up many times but I kept the fire stoked and kept moving. The run was brutal after muscling up all the hills with limited gears, and sore feet, but I stayed in the hurt zone.
I have been losing my purpose with sport recently, and really haven’t been feeling myself. But today I got my problem solving hat on and dug deep. This is exactly what the doctor has ordered. The simple lesson of “never give up”.
