🟢⚪️NEIL CUMMINGS RETURNS FOR 2026/27! 🟢⚪️
Donegal Celtic are delighted to announce that Neil Cummings has re-signed for the 2026/27 season! ✍️
A joint Players’ Player of the Year, Neil enjoyed an outstanding campaign, playing a key role in the heart of midfield and contributing some hugely important goals with his trademark late runs into the box.
Manager’s thoughts on Neil extending his stay at Donegal Celtic Park:
“Neil scored a number of very important goals during the season with his late third-man runs, arriving into the box at exactly the right time, which is a skill in itself. Combined with his intensity in winning individual battles week in, week out, I can’t think of a time he missed a header or a duel all season.
He’s so important to us, both on and off the pitch. As a senior player, he helps lead this team through his actions and by setting the standard every session and in every game.”
As Neil commits to another season in green and white, we know he and his fiancée Jamie are also busy preparing for their big day in just a couple of weeks time. Everyone at Donegal Celtic would like to wish them both a lifetime of happiness as they begin their next chapter together. 💚💍
