Leander ASC took part in our Creating Opportunities programme and raised £10,300 with £5,000 match funding from Sport NI.

Their 'Get On Deck' programme aimed to encourage females of all ages to get in the pool and/or try Swim Ireland coaching and teaching qualifications. Besides this, they also ran outreach to schools and hosted workshops on subjects such as body image, confidence building, nutrition and a technical skills clinic for athletes.

Your club, community organisation, charity or PTA can now avail of up to £5,000 match funding thanks to National Lottery Good Causes funding!

Gymnasts ready to land in Glasgow!

Rhys McClenaghan, Ewan McAteer, Eamon Montgomery and Chester Enriquez will represent Commonwealth Games Northern Ireland this summer.

McClenaghan will be looking for his third consecutive Commonwealth medal whilst Enriquez will be making his games debut. McAteer and Montgomery complete the four man squad ready to take to the apparatus in Scotland.

Congratulations to Northern Ireland Volleyball on their 4th place finish at the European Volleyball Small Countries Association Men's Championships!

South Lakes Leisure Centre in Craigavon was the host as NI reached the bronze medal match against Scotland but lost out to their fellow home nation. Faroe Islands were crowned Champions with victory against San Marino.

Our Be Seen, Be Heard, Belong Outdoors Week is taking place across NI!

The wind may have cancelled the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council sailing sessions but that didn't stop these women getting onto the water at Lough Erne Yacht Club.

Around 30 events have taken place over the week encouraging Women & Girls to enjoy the benefits and try outdoor sports.

Receive up to £5,000 in match funding!

Creating Opportunities, made possible thanks to funding from National Lottery Good Causes, is back for sports clubs and organisations to put on new initiatives to encourage participation in sport and physical activity.

The match funding amount has increased with Sport NI pledging 65% of an organisations Crowdfunder campaign total up to a maximum of £5,000.
