🔵 MACNEAN PARK DEVELOPMENT UPDATE 🔵

🏗️ Another Step Closer to Completion!

Work continues at MacNean Park, with concrete being laid today on the footpath above our new terraced spectator area, which was funded through the Sport NI Olympic Legacy programme.

Our Club Chairman, John Joe Stewart, has been getting stuck in alongside contractor Gareth McGrath, helping to bring this latest phase of the development towards completion. 👏

♿ Next on the list is our dedicated wheelchair-accessible viewing section, with work scheduled to be completed over the coming weeks.

This will be another important addition to our facilities, helping to make MacNean Park more accessible and welcoming for everyone in our community.

A huge thanks to John Joe, Gareth and everyone who continues to contribute their time, expertise and hard work to improving our club grounds.

What a fantastic afternoon of football, fun and friendly rivalry at our Club Youth Fun Day, making great use of our fantastic new club facilities!

Our first ever Townland Mini blitz saw boys and girls from P4 right through to Year 8 come together to represent Holywell, Mullaghdun, Marlbank and The Village!

There was plenty of friendly townland rivalry, some brilliant football, great teamwork and, most importantly, lots of smiles. A special mention must go to all the children for how well they listened, respected the rules and played the games in exactly the spirit they were intended. With such a wide range of ages and abilities on the pitches, they were an absolute credit to themselves and the club! 👏

And what better way to finish off the afternoon than with a burger, an ice cream and plenty of bouncing about on the inflatables!

A massive thank you to all our coaches, referees and the volunteers who made burgers, tea and refreshments, it all made the afternoon such a success, and to all the parents who came along to support.
