There are just a few places left on the next qualifier of the Feva Junior Makins Masters this Saturday 4th July. For this next qualifier, representatives from Feva will be attending, bringing their camera crew and coaches as well!
There are only 2 more chances to go through to the grand final so get booked on! 🎣

Saturday seen us at Alders Farm Fishery for the Canal & River Trust teams of 3 event.
The 3 we selected to compete were Lyric,Jake and Finley.
First half of the day was fishing for silvers only which turned out to be harder for some, big well done to Fin who snagged a section win for Maximum points on the first half. With lyric placing 2nd in her section. Jake struggled with the silvers but managed a few points.
This meant at the half way point the team were sitting joint 2nd.

Moving on to the 2nd half where anything caught counted. The carp switched on during the afternoon, with Jake and Lyric starting really well landing the carp, with Fin having a few technical problems 🙈
All 3 of them fished extremely well, maximum points for Jake and Lyric during the afternoon..

Overall, the team was 6 points clear for a MATCH WIN 🏆
The Individual match winner of the day was Lyric 👏🏻
Well done to all 3 of you.!

So I was asked to fish the Makins carp pairs championship with Theo Cort as two keen match anglers what could go wrong lol, safe to say we done ok catching 7 carp and weighing in 69lb 13oz for 2nd place and qualifying for the final in September, as a coach I try to help all kids in all types of fishing as best as I can, looking forward to the final, well done to everyone that took part,
