FINAL SCORE 17-22

A great result yesterday as we came from behind to secure the win with two tries in the final 10 minutes.

It wasn’t as free-flowing as we would have liked, but the character and determination to keep pushing until the final whistle was excellent.

Two wins against strong opposition heading into the league - exciting times ahead!💚

Our 2026/27 home and change kits have been designed with club heritage at the heart of them.

The ‘Est. 1970’ detail celebrates the year Bedworth RFC was established, while the topography-inspired pattern takes inspiration from the landscape and features of Bedworth. It gives the kits a design that connects where we have come from with where we are heading.

Luke signs for a second season!

Luke had an outstanding first season with Bedworth. His hard-hitting defence and excellent lineout ability in both attack and defence made him a mainstay of the 1st team last season.

Extra-curricular clubs will start on Monday 7th September and all clubs will run from 3:15pm-4:15pm. Students need to head down to the changing rooms straight after school and the designated member of staff will meet you there.

FINAL SCORES 19-5 | 5-22

To have two teams out in preseason is a huge achievement and hopefully a sign of things to come.

The 1st team looked seriously sharp, bagging a comfortable win against Newbold on Avon RFC 2s with great structure and intensity throughout.

Despite the result not going our way for Bedworth Extras, they held Manor Park RFC 2s to under three scores and demonstrated some choppy gameplay. Plenty of positives to take from the performance.

A huge thank you to every player who put in a shift yesterday. Preseason is underway and there’s plenty to be excited about!

FINAL SCORE 7-6

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting Earlsdon for a friendly game. The Bedworth squad came in high spirits full of confidence and enthusiasm.

The game got off to a great start for Bedworth taking the lead thanks to their strong defence putting pressure on Earlsdon from the start and capitalising off of opportunities they created. This strong start kept the energy up in the Bedworth squad.

As the game carried on Earlsdon responded back with good plays and strong attacks keeping the game close. As the quarters progressed, tries kept coming in from both sides leading to a great showing from both sides. Both teams put on a great match with the lead swapping between both sides keeping the game close.

After the game, Bedworth emerged the hard fought victors from the competitive, well played and high spirited game that was enjoyable for all involved.

After the final whistle, we all headed back to the clubhouse to enjoy some great food and drinks as well as plenty of banter to finish a great evening.

A huge thank you to everyone at Earlsdon for coming to Bedworth and giving a great evening of rugby. We look forward to seeing you again soon 💚🏉
