Just a little busy today 🥵😁. I've recently, but only temporarily, reduced opening hours to Mondays and Fridays.
Bookings are essential for most servicing, but I also stock a wide range of parts if there's something you want service or fit yourself.
If we can't find a suitable booking, I can also recommend a few other local expert bike mechanics 👨‍🔧 to meet your needs.

There are so many benefits from choosing an alternative to a personal car for travel whenever you can. When you can dispense with a personal car and use a mix of other modes (including share/hire cars or taxis for the rare event you actually *need* a car), the benefits multiply.

See.Sense lights are *brilliant* in every sense of the word, and their customer service is even better!
These aren't stocked at Town Cycles nor is there any commision gained (there are cheaper, less brilliant alternatives in stock at the Town Cycles workshop). Buying them direct is just so convenient, though if you pop in, I can demonstrate using the ones I run on my own bike.

28mm Gatorskins for road 700c wheels just arrived! This size has been hard to get for a while so get in quick!
Traditionally 23mm was the standard size preferred by roadies, but more and more are converting to wider tyres (frame permitting) to benefit from increased comfort, lower rolling resistance and minimal loss to wind resistance.
These complement the already wide range of road tyres in stock including the ever popular Schwalbe Marathons, MTB & hybrid tyres (26", 27" & 29ers), a few tubeless treads, budget concious options, a full range of kids sizes and a few unusual ones.
