🎯 Event Season Is Almost Here! 🎯

We’re incredibly excited as the event season approaches and we get ready to take Bedworth A.R.C’s brand new, improved air rifle range out on the road!

The response so far has been fantastic — our diary is filling up fast, but we still have a small amount of availability left for upcoming events.

What an incredible day we had at our Christmas Open yesterday! We were thrilled to welcome participants from all over the UK, and the turnout was fantastic. As always, we divided the competition into three groups based on league averages to ensure fairness, and the shooting was nothing short of spectacular across all groups. Check out these impressive results:

Group A- Ian Hale - 97.3 - Rebecca Horsler - 94.4 - Triumphed on count back over her teammate Phil Hood, also with 94.4

Group B- Katie Cartwright - 94.3 - Keith Butler - 94.2 - Edged out Mark Horsler on count back, both scoring 94.2

Group C- Jade Hoverd - 94 - Caroline A - 89.1 - A remarkable performance from a very new shooter!

The fun shoots were a blast, adding even more excitement to the day:

Christmas Pudding - Harry A dazzled with the fun rifle, scoring an impressive 62! Meanwhile, Georgia Hale, using her own rifle, achieved an outstanding 64!

Christmas Lights - This challenge was tougher than ever, but Ian Hale shone brightly with a winning score of 6 points!

Number Square - Always a crowd favourite, this year's winner tackled it like a pro, scoring an amazing 85!

1/4 Inch Bell Target - Andy Dobson took the top spot with an outstanding 49/50, closely followed by Keith Butler with an impressive 48.1!

A huge congratulations to all our winners, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who travelled to join us and to those who helped make the day such a success. We can't wait to see you all again in 2026!

Last Nights results for the Bedworth and District Air Rifle League

Last night's President's Shoot was a thrilling event! The unique format, allowing only jumpers instead of shooting jackets or gloves, leveled the playing field and showcased just how much our newcomers have progressed since starting last season.

The competition was intense from start to finish. Bedworth Ex A clinched the top spot with an impressive 266, narrowly edging out Coton, who delivered a formidable 260. Not far behind, Misfits A put up a strong fight with a solid 257.

The battle for the highest score of the night was a nail-biter between Jon Storer and Andrew Cryer, both achieving a commendable 69 out of 75. Hot on their heels were newcomers Adam Cartwright and Chris Barr, who amazed everyone with a 68 out of 75, just one shot shy of the league's seasoned shooters!

Next week promises even more excitement as the top Bedworth Shooters face off against the best of the Hinckley League. It's sure to be an incredible night of shooting, so stay tuned for the report!
