and flexibility, plus just feel a whole lot healthier. Our facilities are spacious and well fitted out, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We run a variety of motivating Classes to help you get those results, from Legs, Bums, Tums to Boxing. Members and non-members alike are welcome to all of our classes, follow us on Facebook to keep updated with the latest additions. We also stock a wide range of Protein powders and supplements to enhance your training and get those results quicker. Our Proteins are of the highest quality, mainly derived from Whey Isolate and Hydrolysed Whey, the very best you can buy in Whey Protein. Our Diet Protein has proven to be highly effective, and is very popular especially with ladies as it is a very potent addition to anyone's fitness/healthy eating plan. We also stock Premium Protein powders for the serious athlete/bodybuilder, and Mass Gainers for those wishing to add size and quality muscle. As well as serving and supporting the local community, Paramount, with the help of our members, has helped many locally based charities, hospitals, schools and organizations, raising over £30k to date! Teen members, we ask you to book your 1-hour gym slot and make it count! Stay focused, work hard, and crush those fitness goals!
Here’s a tip: plan your workout beforehand, prioritise exercises related to your goal, get it done and then you can get on with your day.

If you haven’t got the app yet, download it now and speak to reception so that we can set a password for you.

Book your slots now.
If one slot is fully booked, try a different slot.
If you arrive at the gym without booking, you must wait at reception for a member of staff to let you through.

Also, don’t forget to click on Club Perks, where you will find discounts for gym wear, supplements, equipment, and fresh food.

Hold on!

Once you have built your lats strength from lat pull-down, you can move on to other progressions.

This is a good one to try
*Some of you have gone through this one and are now doing pull ups/chin ups for reps 👏

The isometric hold at the top position isn’t just a flex, it can make a difference. By pausing at the top, you’re building serious lat strength and teaching your body to engage those muscles. Over time, this progression translates to more power and control, making the full pull-up feel way more achievable. It’s not just about the rep, it’s about building the strength to do more reps, cleaner ones too.

Grab one or two steps, high enough to allow you to jump into the position.

The football team absolutely smashed tonight’s session in the studio. They’ve made massive progress from where they started, and it’s clear they’re learning the ropes when it comes to exercises and proper technique. They’re getting stronger and fitter, and that’s what matters most. They’re not perfect yet, but that’s all part of the journey - and they’re doing a cracking job so far. We’re so happy to see them keep pushing themselves!
*Some of them are even showcasing their moonwalk, handclap push up, and frog pose. Maybe they can teach us that one day.
