a little collection of our beach yoga memories from this summer 🌊🌅

I’m honestly so unbelievably grateful for every single morning we’ve shared… core memories have been made 🤍

our weekly beach yoga sessions are now done until next summer 🥲 although I’ll absolutely be keeping my eyes on those rare golden mornings and popping up for the odd session when the weather aligns!!

but I hope you take a little piece of these mornings with you. the breath, the stillness, the permission to pause. the reminder to listen to yourself and keep coming back to your own peace. because when we prioritise our own peace, it ripples far beyond ourselves 🌊🤍

thank you for showing up, trusting me, and making these mornings so incredibly special!

om shanti, shanti, shanti 🪶
peace, peace, peace

i love you all lots ###x

the forecast is looking lovely and clear but deffo cooler, so come layer up, bring your blanket for savasana and soak up our final little beach ritual of the season 🤍

I’d LOVE to see as many of you as possible there 🫶🏼

🌊🌅 OUR FINAL SUMMER BEACH YOGA

well yogis… we’re reaching the end of this years lil beach yoga era 🥹🤍

our final session for now…

WEDNESDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER
🌅 6:30-7:15am
🌊 Blyth Beach

I’ll still pop up for the odd beach session when we get a beautiful morning and the weather allows, but as we head further into September, the North East weather is going to make these little beach rituals much harder to plan!

so I’d LOVE to see as many of you as possible for our final summer session this Wednesday 🥹

one more morning of fresh air, bare feet in the sand, moving together as the sun comes up and that lovely lil feeling of ‘I’m so glad I got myself out of bed for this’ 🌅🌊

come join me for one last summer sunrise yogis, and let’s make it a beaut one 🫶🏼

last night genuinely has left me feeling so uplifted, my heart = fillllled up!!!!

watching the women in the room notice where they were rushing, holding on and forcing, then seeing them soften throughout the evening was beautiful to witness. by the end of the facial, the energy in the room felt completely different… slower, softer and quieter 🪶

it felt like watching a nervous system soften in real time. what a privilege!!!!

i feel so grateful for your trust and for the opportunity to share practices that have helped me so much on my own journey 🥰

to me, self-care isn’t just about doing something nice for yourself; it’s about building and maintaining a relationship with yourself. allowing yourself to become someone you love and treating yourself with the same patience, tenderness and nurture you so naturally offer to others.

i know that can feel difficult for many of us, sometimes even uncomfortable or unfamiliar. we can be so good at caring for everyone else, yet struggle to offer ourselves that same affection.

but, like any relationship, it takes time, patience and commitment to build that connection. when we return to ourselves through these little rituals, we create deeper trust with our body, mind and breath. we begin to notice when something feels off, when we’re rushing, disconnected or have moved away from ourselves, and become more familiar with what helps us come home again.

it’s not about doing it perfectly; it’s allllll about being committed to yourself 🫶🏼

even if it’s just a few minutes in the morning: your skincare, coffee without your phone, or three deep breaths in the shower while imagining the water washing away some of the stress you’re carrying. taking lil moments to say to ourselves, ‘i’m here, i’m listening, i’m taking care of you.’

because when we care for ourselves in this way, it doesn’t stop with us!! it ripples into how we show up for the people we love and the world around us.

our next Autumn Ritual is now waitlisted, and it’s so clear to me that these spaces to pause, soften and reconnect are needed more than ever… thank you for your trust. it’s such a pleasure to create these rituals and guide you through them 🥰🤍🍂

🧘🏽‍♀️🤍BEACH YOGA TOMORROW
6:30 - 7:15am
Blyth Beach

‼️CHANGE TO MEETING SPOT!!
because of the oil spill situation at Blyth Beach, we'll be practicing on the sand just below the park, near the beach huts (instead of next to the bandstand)

bathing can now resume south of Dave Stephen's Centre, so anyone fancying a little post-yoga sea dip can head straight in afterwards 🌊

the weather is looking a little questionable, but we're keeping everything crossed it clears up for us 🤞🏼
i'll do our usual 6am weather check and confirm in the chat whether we're going ahead!!
please check before you head off x

a lil throwback to my teacher training days 🤍

before I knew quite where this path would take me, there i was standing in an old stone stable chanting Om and listening to it echo through the walls with my teacher.

in yoga philosophy, Om (Aum) is considered the primordial sound, representing the totality of existence. it is traditionally understood not simply as something we just hear, but as something that we feel…
a vibration that turns our awareness inward.

and perhaps that is why it has endured for thousands of years.. one sound, one breath, one vibration 🌬️

a lil invitation to stop reaching outward for a moment and return inwards towards yourself 🕉️

🌧️ Beach Yoga Update

unfortunately tomorrow’s beach yoga is going to be cancelled as rain is forecast to come in around 7am… rather than have everyone dragging themselves out of bed for a soggy practice, we’ll take a rain check and I’ll add an extra beach session in next week instead 🌊🤍

Thank you for understanding, and I’ll see you all back on the beach very soon! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
