If you know someone that loves darts and is aged between 7-16 they could come and join us.

Whether they're picking up a dart for the first time or already hitting plenty of big scores, all abilities are welcome. Our aim is to provide a friendly, supportive and encouraging environment where every player can develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of the team. Today was our last summer session where we ran an in house pairs competition to test our players abilities under pressure and they all handled it brilliantly!

It’s still the summer but our break is over, we’re back and today we tested out some new top secret darts games.

It was great to see all ages playing together and helping each other out and respecting each other’s games when playing against each other.

But there’s still more to come.

As we head into a short summer break, I (Shaun) just wanted to say how incredibly proud I am of what we've achieved together in the first six months of the academy.

What started as an idea has grown into a fantastic community of young darts players who turn up every week with enthusiasm, support one another, and continue to improve.

We've celebrated personal milestones, seen players grow in confidence, welcomed new faces, awarded grading certificates, we even had one of our players accepted onto the Target Player Pathway Programme and played in a national tournament for Target academies.

To all of our players, parents, supporters and sponsors thank you for believing in what we're building. Your commitment and encouragement have made these first six months better than I could have imagined.

Enjoy the summer break, recharge, and we'll see you all again soon.

This afternoon we took part in our first ever fixture against Tamworth Junior Darts Academy in the Target Darts inter academy cup.
Unfortunately we lost 5-3 but it was a great game with some brilliant darts thrown, some big checkouts (116 and 130) and a 180.
The team all played so well and we are so proud of them all.

Our next fixture will be just around the corner.

The temperature may have gone up outside but in the Ministry of darts we always keep our cool.
Today’s session was a mixture of training routines and games, including getting everyone on our Omni system.
Next week we have our first ever academy fixture as part of the Target Darts inter academy cup with 8 of our players facing off against Tamworth Academy.
