Everyone at Bedford Town Football Club would like to send our love, support and condolences to all involved in the horrendous events at Elstow on the mainline yesterday afternoon.

Many supporters travel to the Eyrie via train, and a number of Eagles work on the railway. We are extremely proud of the reaction of our community to this sudden emergency. The situation brought the best out of Bedford, in the worst of circumstances.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the individual who passed away.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Kappa and Kappa Authentic England community screening night last night. It was so good to see you all enjoying yourselves, and of course getting three valuable England points!

Albeit on a smaller scale, the Eyrie is open for England’s next game against Ghana on Tuesday night. From 6pm!
