After a brilliant first week back, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for our second Thursday Development Centre session this week! 🙌

Our Development Centre is about much more than just weekly football coaching. We want every player to develop their skills, build confidence, enjoy their football and be challenged in their development where possible.

For players looking to take their football further, we’re creating a genuine progression pathway where possible. 🚀⚽

⚽ EXCITING NEWS – WELCOME ABOARD, ANT! ⚽

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ant to our Development Centre coaching team! he will be starting next week with us!!!

Ant is a UEFA B qualified coach with an impressive 15 years of coaching experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise to share with our young players.

He will be working across several age groups within our Development Centre:

Year 2: 4:00pm–5:00pm
Years 5 & 6: 5:00pm–6:00pm
Older age groups: 6:00pm–7:00pm

This is a fantastic addition to our current programme and another step in ensuring our players receive high-quality coaching throughout their development journey.

We can’t wait to get Ant started and see the positive impact he’ll have on the children.

🚗 Parking Update for Coaching Sessions

As we return to all sessions this week, please be aware that due to the ongoing delayed work on the 3G pitch, our sessions will temporarily take place on the grass pitch.

Around 30% of the usual parking spaces are currently unavailable as they have been fenced off by the contractors.

If you’re able to walk to sessions, that would be a great help. If you do need to drive, please arrive a little earlier to find a suitable space and be mindful not to park in any designated or allocated parking areas of the residents.

⚽️ WHAT A BRILLIANT DAY AT WILLOW GROVE PRIMARY SCHOOL! ⚽️
On Wednesday, pupils enjoyed action-packed football coaching sessions delivered by a Real Bedford Wixams FC coach and they absolutely loved every minute! 🧡🖤

The children showed fantastic energy, enthusiasm and teamwork while developing their passing, dribbling, and ball mastery. Most importantly, everyone played with a smile and had lots of fun!

A huge well done to every child who took part, and a big thank you to Willow Grove Primary School for welcoming us and helping make the day such a success. 👏⚽️

All of the children were awarded a certificate for their amazing efforts and some were lucky enough to win some prizes as well.
