I’m incredibly proud to announce that was awarded his black belt at RGA HQ on the 20th June 2026, by and I.

Lewis has earned this through years of consistency, hard work and genuine dedication to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is an exceptional technician and a formidable competitor. Lewis pretty much lives on the mats. Even when he isn’t training, he is studying, refining his game and constantly adding to his arsenal.

This promotion could not have gone to a more deserving man. Lewis is not only a huge part of RGA Bedford, but also someone I’m proud to call a good friend.

Join us on Saturday 4th July for a friendly in-house competition and grading at Roger Gracie Academy Bedford.

Open to all RGA Bedford members - junior and adult. It is the ideal opportunity to test your skills in a familiar, supportive environment—especially if you are considering entering your first official competition.

Family and friends are welcome to come along and support.
