🐾 ⏸️ (Read - THEN scroll for cuteness overload!)
It took me seeing the new pup fast asleep with his massive paws next to me to reiterate that it is okay to ‘paws’.
Most of us have trouble shifting our mindset 🧠
🚦‘GO, GO, GO’
👩🏼💻‘I HAVE TO GET THIS DONE’
🤹🏻‘IVE GOT TOO MUCH ON’
😩‘I HAVE NO TIME’
🗓️’WHEN WILL I FIT THAT IN!’
Ticking off to do lists and running around like headless chickens until we’re fried!! 🏃🐔 🍳
We end up in autopilot, Groundhog Day, pushing through.
Sound familiar?👀
Life doesn’t come in neat, organised blocks. It comes in waves, early starts, late finishes, family needs, school runs, overtime, broken sleep, and the constant mental load of trying to keep everything moving at once.
And when you’re juggling that much, it’s normal for something to wobble or break.⛓️💥
But here’s the part we forget: it’s okay to pause!
Pausing isn’t quitting.
Pausing is recalibrating.
It’s taking a breath so you can keep going with intention rather than overwhelm.
When you’re balancing work, home, fatigue, and your own goals, sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop for a moment and reset.
Your routine might slip.
Your training might stall.
Your nutrition might dip.
That doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it means you’re human, and you’re carrying a lot.
You don’t need perfection. You need sustainability. You need compassion for yourself. You need space to restart without shame, and without guilt.
So if you’re in a pause right now, let it be a pause.
Not a spiral.
Not a story about falling behind.
Just a moment to breathe, regroup, and step back in when you’re ready 💪🏼
Your life is busy. Your responsibilities are real. And your progress is still yours, even if you pick it back up tomorrow, or next week.
Resetting is strength.
Restarting is progress.
It’s filling your cup back up for you and others 🥤
And that’s okay!
