Pre-season friendly for our 1s today against Bedford 6s.

A very evenly matched game with the score still level at half time. Chiltern dominated the majority of the game but Bedford fought hard.

The goals started coming in the second half with Bedford scoring from open play. Holly then equalised moments later and then Bedford pushed back to tuck away another to take the score to 2-1.

Chloe scored in the dying seconds of the game to equalise - a far fairer result in our opinion.

Our ladies teams are looking for a photographer (or two) to capture the thrills and spills of our matches which are played in and around Bedfordshire.

You could be wanting to build a portfolio, a keen sports photographer or happy to support a local club and follow our progress…we’d be delighted to have you on board.

The new season starts on 12th September and fixtures are already published on the East Hockey website.

We have a return to hockey / friendly on 5th at 2pm down at Chaul End Lane in Luton. All welcome….it’s a good opportunity to dust off your hockey stick and astros and a great way of getting back into this fabulous sport 🏑
