Jeremy Clarkson has just revealed that he's been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early, and he's using his platform to encourage men to get checked.
That matters.
Because most men don't think about prostate cancer until it's their problem.
I know that because I've been there.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 head and neck cancer.
Two rounds of chemotherapy.
Thirty sessions of radiotherapy.
A feeding tube.
Months of recovery.
Then, just when I thought cancer was part of my past, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Not exactly the sequel I was hoping for.
Here's what cancer teaches you:
You stop worrying about the small stuff.
You stop putting things off.
You realise health isn't something you can take for granted.
And you realise that being "fit" and being "healthy" aren't always the same thing.
That's one of the reasons I've created my new programme:
'Stronger Than Before'.
Not for bodybuilders.
Not for fitness fanatics.
For men who have been through cancer, health scares, setbacks, surgeries, diagnoses, or life kicking them square in the teeth.
Men who want to rebuild their strength.
Regain their confidence.
Get their energy back.
And stop feeling like a patient.
Jeremy Clarkson's diagnosis is another reminder that cancer doesn't care who you are.
TV presenter.
Farmer.
Coach.
Ex-soldier.
Dad.
Grandad.
It can happen to any of us.
The good news?
Early detection saves lives.
Getting checked isn't weakness.
Ignoring symptoms isn't strength.
If you're over 50, or over 45 with risk factors, have the conversation.
Book the appointment.
Ask the question.
Because being strong isn't pretending you're invincible.
Being strong is dealing with reality and moving forward anyway.
That's what 'Stronger Than Before is all about'.
