Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art, taught in a supportive environment where everyone can progress at their own pace. Along the way, people find themselves getting fitter, moving better, and feeling more confident — it’s all part of the journey. Great for adults, children and especially families.

Classes run every Tuesday evening, 6:30–7:30pm at Wootton Community Centre. Ages 5+ welcome, and your first class is free.

Last class of the year and what a year we have had. Three students graded, student of the year for Neems and Dariuz getting an extra award for outstanding effort in his grading plus my grandson and Sam’s nephew getting his yellow belt. Well done Tyler. Not forgetting Reuben who did a sterling job getting his purple belt. Fantastic and proud of all our students. Looking forward to another exciting year!

What do we actually do in class?

One of the things is Hyungs or Forms. These are patterns of movements showcasing your techniques. They become more complex as you progress through the belts and you will learn new ones each time you grade. 👊

Can you get much more ferocious than our students Reuben and Darius at their June grading? Well done to both of them and they passed with flying colours!

Last weekend we had a grading for 6 of our students. Well done to Zara who performed really well and became a new Orange Belt. Reuben who reached Green Belt. Neems who is our new Red Belt (tag) and to Victor, Osian and Elspeth who are now Dark Blue belt holders after a sterling performance and are now Black Belt Candidates (CDB). Osian and Elspeth also were students of the grading. Victor was also awarded Student of the Year at the Dal P**n Academy Christmas event on saturday evening. Well done all of you!!
