The water may look inviting but even on a warm day the water can be cold.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a strong swimmer.
Jumping into the water to cool off can lead to cold water shock, which can result in drowning

What a great lesson the boys had at Delfina’s Swim School today.
It was all about open water safety, looking for danger and shouting for help, just in time for summer!
The grown ups were really helpful and the kids listened really well.

We had fun participating in the Drowning Prevention Week campaign on Sunday and hope all swimmers enjoyed the session and learnt some valuable life skills. 🛟🌊
