Reseed Sierra Leone are looking for 3 full time Business Skills Facilitators [internal and external
candidates]. Initial 3 months probationary period, extended to one [1] year contract with the
possibility of extension.
The Job: Business Skills Facilitator
Objective: Facilitate the development of women-led businesses and enhance their financial
resilience
Responsibilities:
● Business Development Training:
○ Implement business development methodology.
○ Assist participants in assessing their situations and identifying business ideas.
○ Help participants select viable business ideas.
● Savings Banks Training:
○ Encourage the formation of Savings Banks.
○ Explain the benefits of group savings.
○ Implement training in how manage Saving Bank
● Service Provider Meetings:
○ Assess participants' service provider needs.
○ Link participants to government services, micro-finance institutions, and other
providers.
● Monitoring and Evaluation:
○ Collect and compile M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) data.
○ Evaluate participant business plans.
○ Prepare regular activity progress reports.
● Other Tasks:
○ Support project financial management.
○ Participate in technical project meetings.
○ Undertake additional tasks as required by the supervisor.
Other Organisational Duties and Commitments
● Uphold and commit to organisation policies and principles including;
○ Safeguarding commitments and guidelines
○ Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) commitments and guidelines
○ Photo, video and case study consent policy
○ Attending necessary training provided and recommended by RSL

Basic information about working at Reseed:
● You will attend work 5 days per week
○ We are a flexible employer and you may discuss with us any preferences or
commitments that may influence your time working. This includes preferring to work
Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday or taking time to collect children from school
● Regular working hours start at 9am in the morning and finish when your days duties are
complete
○ As a workshop host you must be available on the days and times workshops are
scheduled

● You must be willing and physically able to travel to different communities to host workshops
● You must be confident and willing to lead workshops
● You should have excellent people and communication skills including knowledge and use of
local languages

● You should respect time and be professional in your approach to work
● You should be passionate about social development and helping others
Desirable additional skills and knowledge:
● Previous experience and/or understanding of small business skills
● Experience in public speaking or speaking
● Experience working with low literacy people and groups
● Experience of riding motorbike
