Baylee patterson equestrian I am a young, motivated and passionate aspiring Equestrian. I am a self-taught rider and have educated myself along the way through hands on experience.

My first pony was a yearling. New forest pony named Duffy.Brought for £20.00. Duffy had never been handled or had human contact. A little back ground about him- He did not like being touched or any contact, he was very food aggressive and kicked most people who tried to come in contact with him. I built a strong bond with , allowing me to be able to eventually train and produce the pony. The pony

was also used for young family members showing how far the pony had developed after my work with him. After 3 years I was able to compete with Duffy in all disciplines and competitions in the local area. Achieving various standards against professionally trained ponies. (You can see progress of Duffy and our competitions on my profile in album named Duffy). Duffy was one of my greatest achievements and allowed me to learn many skills. Although i did not buy to sell. I am SO pleased to say he managed to won reserve championship! The work I did with Duffy was shown when I managed to sell him to a lovely home after I had out grown him and could no longer benefit his progress. This raw experience has allowed me to gain valuable hands on experience with training and breaking in a new horse. My second greatest achievement- Henry. Third continuous - River- Challenging horse

Super pleased with Zazu, not the best result (poles) but he jumped round his first NAF Five Star Summer Bronze League Qualifier over at Weston lawns this morning! Took in the atmosphere, and warmed up lovely! Only a few months ago I couldn’t even enter one on him! But today he was fab🫶 I’d also usually do a class in the ring before even trying to get round competitively because he definitely likes too have a good look round and check there isn’t a monster ready to attack🤣 so chuffed ❤️
